UPS ARS label costs are increasing. In the past UPS had a program in which our Authorized Return Shipments (ARS) were audited and a flat rate was assessed based on average zone and package weight. This allowed us to record the ARS labels as they were returned to us and to bill our customers at a constant fee per label. UPS has decided to do away with this program. We have been in negotiations with UPS and Fed EX most of the summer trying to resolve the dilemma caused by the cancelation of this program. The best solution we have come up with is to stay with UPS, flat rate two weight options in house and require payment at the time of the label order. I know this is going to take some getting used to for our regular ARS label users. I assure you we are merely passing along UPS’s increased prices in an attempt to keep our test prices competitive. You are now able to log on at wardlab.com, order, and pay for ARS labels. We have two order options: a 51 pound label for $17.00, and a 10 pound label for $9.00. Please honor these weights as maximum package weights. This should still be significantly less expensive than at your local UPS store. Thank you for understanding UPS’s price increases.
